Refunds and transfers
Class packages and memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable. Once you purchase your classes, make sure you know the expiration date and use all classes before that date. Most of the packages have a three-month expiration date.
If you are under the age of 18, we require parental consent.
Our studio has a minimum age requirement of 16 years old, and we require written consent from a parent or legal guardian. Your parent needs to come to the studio with you, so they can sign the release form with a copy of their ID. This is for insurance liability purposes.
If you are a minor, be sure you are accompanied by your parent/guardian for your first class
Please arrive on time for classes, dressed and ready to start your session at the scheduled time. We suggest that you arrive to the studio at least 10 minutes before your scheduled class to avoid late cancellation charges. Missing warm up due to late arrival is a safety issue and we ask that you respect both our instructors and other students by showing up on time.
We are an open-door studio and welcome all students.
Please respect our instructors and their role while attending classes. Students should not be teaching other students while in the studio.
Please refrain from using your cell phone in class, We do not tolerate bullying or disrespecting other students and their personal space. Such behavior will result in removal from the class and you may be asked not to return to future classes with us.
Studio rentals are for personal use/practice only and are not to be used for profit purposes (this includes photoshoots, non-personal videos, events, etc.)
There is a 24-hour cancellation policy when booking a studio rental. If you cancel within 24 hours, you will lose your session and your payment.
Studio rentals are by the hour. We do not do half-hour rentals.
For the privacy and comfort of our students and instructors, we do not allow class observations. The studio’s location is within 5 minutes of Starbucks if you would prefer to wait for a friend elsewhere.
At TCDA we have a 12-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel at least 12 hours before your scheduled class or waitlist, you will not lose that class.
NO SHOW AND LATE CANCEL
If you late cancel, you will lose the class from your package.
No shows will be charged a single drop-in class rate. Our class sizes are always full, and we usually have a waitlist. ***Monthly members will be charged $12.00 every time they late cancel a class.
Please check your schedule to make sure you can attend all the classes in a series. We understand that sometimes emergencies do come up. In that case, we offer “Beginner Drop-In” classes that you can register for online using your student account. This class is the price of a single pole dance class $15, or you can purchase a package/membership and use this to meet our requirements for Climbs and Spins 1.
PRIVATE LESSONS & STUDIO RENTALS
We ask that you let us know at least 24 hours ahead of time if you need to cancel a private class, otherwise you will lose your payment. There are no refunds for late cancellations.
Pole party deposits are non-refundable. If you do not show up for a scheduled party, there will be an additional $85.00 instructor fee charged to your card.
When classes are full, you can add yourself to the class waitlist. If space later becomes available, you will receive an automatic email/text letting you know you have been added to the class. Please note, that if you are added to a class, you will be held to the same cancellation policy as with any other class you sign up for. Please manage your schedule and waitlists accordingly.
No alcohol can be consumed before any physical activities at the studio. If you are intoxicated when arriving at our studio, you will not be allowed to participate in class and will not be refunded your money.
Video Taping & Pictures
Taking pictures and filming others is not allowed in our classes. Please respect another student’s privacy. Filming of any instruction must have the explicit permission of your instructor and may not be distributed or publicly shared without consent.
Inclement/Severe Weather Policy
For the safety of our students and instructors, TCDA reserves the right to cancel classes on days of inclement or extreme weather. This includes spring and summer days when the temperature is above 90 degrees F and winter days of heavy snow or freezing temperatures. Students will receive cancellation notices by 12 PM for evening classes, or 7 PM the night before for morning classes.
